Summer Adventure Days

A great outdoor activity day for you & your dog!

Spend the day with us and try your hand and paws at:

  • Dog Agility (possibly the finest dog sport ever invented!)
  • Biking with your dog
  • and last but not least Canicross (running with your dog) - don't worry you can walk instead if you want!

Now's the time for you and your dog to adventure together!

We are based on the shores of Grafham Water and are extremely fortunate to have 1500 acres of beautiful countryside to play in!

Grafham Water has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for over 30 years. There is a 280 acre nature reserve, woodlands, reed beds and a nine mile hiking/cycling track not to mention the Three Shires Way nearby.

Grafham Water is the perfect setting to have an adventure day out with your dog!

Spend the morning learning all about the ever popular dog sport – Dog Agility.  We are huge fans of the sport and compete regularly up and down the country with our own dogs.  We have a fully fenced training field with beginner friendly equipment right on the south lake shore, a really beautiful setting.

We will take you on a fun introduction to all the agility equipment plus motivation and basic handling techniques to not only perform the obstacles correctly but also navigate the spaces between the obstacles which is just as important!

Agility training has so many benefits and will help you improve general control, responsiveness and advance your training.  Be warned, it can also be addictive!!

Chillax by the lake with a nice lunch, bring your own or visit the Fishing Lodge cafe

For the afternoon we’ll guide you over to the North shore where you’ll learn all about biking with your dog and get to practice on a beautiful stretch of the circular path that runs all the way around the lake.

With the right equipment it's much safer and easier than you think!

To finish off we'll introduce you to Canicross which is running with your dog attached to you with a special stretchy lead and a hip belt.  A hands-free belt is actually a really great way to walk your dog even if you don't run and prefer a more leisurely pace so don't worry if you'd rather walk - that's fine too!

Throughout we are there to make sure you have a really fun day out and we'll have a camera to record some of those great moments of you & your dog trying something new.
