Beginner Obedience

This is a four week course running on Sunday afternoons at the Grafham Water Sailing Club Venue. This is a large and beautiful park like venue with plenty of easy and free parking right next to the training area.

The next course which is a new intake for complete beginners starts on Sunday 19th July 2020 at 3.15pm.

This fun and relaxed course is specifically designed to open the door to the wonderful world of dog training!

We start from scratch and cover:

the basics of mark and reward training,
basic loose lead manners,
sit and down on command,
the beginnings of a stay,
and helping your dog feel comfortable working in a small group of other dogs.

This course is suitable for puppies and dogs of any age.

We use a variety of fun obstacle games and handling exercises to improve your dogs focus and attention on you and help you:

Teach your dog to Come
Teach your dog to Walk beside you
Teach your dog to Sit on cue
Teach your dog to Lay Down on cue
Teach your dog to Stay

When you have mastered these skills not only will your daily walks be so much more enjoyable, you'll have laid the foundation for enjoying all sorts of other training activities with your best four legged friend!

The course is 4 weeks, each session is approximately 55 minutes long.

STEP 2

Complete the payment step by clicking on the Add to Basket button and following the checkout process. All course fees are refundable in full prior to the course commencing. Once the course starts however no refunds are available.

You will receive a payment receipt and we will send you a further email with course confirmation, directions to the venue and details of what to bring and any other requirements.
