Grafham Water Canines                          COVID-19 Safety Policies


 

The following COVID safety policies apply for all Grafham Water Canines Dog Training classes:

  1. Class sizes will be limited to abide by the prevailing government restrictions on groups of people from different households meeting outdoors.  A maximum of one person can accompany each dog to class, other family members may watch from the field perimeter abiding by 2m social distancing requirements at all times.
  2. All clients will be required to use hand sanitiser upon entering class - no exceptions.
  3. Strict 2m social distancing at all times.  Equipment in the training field will be spaced out to ensure adequate distance between clients and instructors. Instructors may ask clients to move positions to adhere to this policy.
  4. Owners should touch only their own dogs and there will be no physical contact between the trainer and client or dog.  Owners should not touch any of the equipment in the training field.
  5. Clients will be asked to bring their own dog toys when required for class activities.
  6. New clients must text or email a photo of their dog’s vaccination certificate before attending class. If this is not possible, instructors will request clients read out current vaccination dates instead of handling certificates themselves.
  7. If you have symptoms of a cough, fever, signs of a cold or flu, impairment of smell and taste, or have had contact to persons with such symptoms, or to people testing positive with SARS-CoV-2 you should not attend classes under any circumstances, please stay home. Will we arrange a free catch up lesson when you are well again and offer extra email and phone support in the meantime.
  8. If you arrive to class visibly ill, you will be asked to leave.
  9. Cash payments cannot be accepted so please all enrolments and course payments must be done on the website
  10. If you are unable to attend your entire course, a credit will be added to your account to use when you are well.
